RK Dolce’s music is written, composed and preformed by Rodney Samuels. Rod grew up in Oakland, CA, in a happy home with his mother and sister. His first introduction to music, and performing, began as a young boy in elementary school, when he performed, on trumpet for the first time, in the school’s band. This is where his love for music began.

At 6 years old he started playing the trumpet, which he played for years, then the guitar, next percussion instruments, and finally electronic keyboards. In junior high he began writing and composing songs and even started a band with his friends. He’s been driven by the idea of singing ever since.

Travelled the world for years preforming at various venues. Very early in his career he opened for famous acts such as Ray Charles, Natalie Cole and the Dooby Brothers, and more. He was also offered a record deal with an RCA Label affiliate, and even released a record or two, with mid chart results.

Throughout his career, Rod has amassed a large collection of, one of a kind, original music, all songs that he wrote, composed, sang and produced.
